This week`s stitch for the Build a Seam (BAS) Challenge is a very basic stitch that I have managed to neglect until now - the Fly Stitch.
This stitch will be familiar to a lot of people, but perhaps we can try to use it in a new way on a seam treatment. I have used it here to secure some gold trim to a block and will be adding more bling before I am done.
If you would like to look at some instructions for the fly stitch, Sharon B., of Pintangles, has a tutorial in her Dictionary of Stitches. Have fun with this one!
